I made this wreath two years ago. I used metallic fabric along with deco mesh for this wreath. As you can see I used my rule of threes. Three sun flowers and three fall leaves with raffia and acorns. The sun flowers and fall leaves are hot glued down and the metallic fabric and fall ribbon are just wrapped around the wreath. This is the third year that I have hung this wreath outside on my door and it has stood the weather.
I hope you like this fall deco mesh wreath and leave a comment if you have any questions.
Two years ago my sister, Tina introduced me to deco mesh. She made a wreath out of it and showed it to me and I fell in love with. Tina is very sophisticated and her wreaths are out of this world. I’m more country and old fashioned. Between the two of us we come up with one of a kind wreaths that you won’t find in any stores.
I’ll be showing you how to create your own deco mesh wreath from the start:
I like to start adding the deco mesh in the inner row and then the outer row. Most of my wreaths have three rows so I added red to the middle. When it comes to embellishments I use the rule of threes. I visually divide the wreath into two sections of threes and alternate my embellishments.
Here is the finished wreath, hope you have as much fun making it as I did. Enjoy
