When we bought our house in 2012, it came with a 7’X11’ ft. playhouse in the backyard. The previous owners used it as her craft room. It was the ideal setting for my craft room. This playroom is bright with 3 large windows and 2 smaller windows which makes it ideal for crafting. Featured below are a few pictures of the original look. I painted the inside of the playhouse teal and decorated it with hot pink and white furniture.
After two years, it was time for a more space. The spare bedroom which was converted to a gym and is now my craft room. My husband and I painted the room a warm gray with a white trim. Though not a bright, it is very functional.
Below are pictures from the before, during and after.

Wow! It definitely has some changes and it looks fabulous.I Like the colors you chose and the final look of your craft room. Where did you find the inspiration for designing this room?

I looked thru a lot of Pinterest pictures for ideas, but I had to make it work around the furniture I already have. I think it’s missing an area rug, but haven’t found one I really like.

You really did a nice job including all of the pictures for the room. I really enjoy before and after pictures. LOVE the teal and pink. I can see how this room would work for you and nice that you can have the room too. I have a room as well but it isn’t as nicely done. I feel the real advantage of having a room already done like yours is so you don’t have to start a project and then put it all away. Yes, it’s also great that you have room for your materials but I especially like not having to put stuff away and pick up where I left off.
